Advanced HTML5 and JavaScritp APIs
HTML5 is the new standard for developing web application, which is taking over the Internet. With the vast JavaScript APIs that are a part of HTML5, we can develop web applications and sites without the need for special plugins.
In this session we will examine some of the HTML5 JavaScript APIs, and focus mainly on two important parts: storing information on the client-side and using communication and messaging techniques from JavaScript.
During the session we will cover the following APIs: AppCache, IndexedDb, Web Storage, File API, Server-Sent events, CORS, PostMessage, and WebSockets.

About the speaker:
Gil Fink, Microsoft MVP, is an expert in Web development and Microsoft data platform. He works as a senior architect at Sela Group. He conducts lectures and workshops for developers and enterprises who want to specialize in infrastructure and Web development.
